S – Oh that my ways were steadfast in

obeying your decrees! v.5

O – This first part of PS 119 lists all the

different ways people are blessed when they

read God’s Word and put it into practice.  Verse

five is a desire to be more consistent in doing so.

A – Obeying God is not a part-time pursuit.  If

I want the benefits of knowing God and be

authentic in my relationship with him, then I

need to become more steadfast more persistent

and commtted to living for Jesus.

P – Father help me love your Word more than

my wants.  Where do I need to be more

steadfast?  What decrees am I overlooking?
